Terms & Conditions – Optimo Waste Ltd Subscription Bin Collection Service
1. Service Overview
Optimo Waste Ltd provides a private bin collection service on a subscription basis. Customers can choose from one of our plans:
• 1 collection per month – £15
• 2 collections per month – £25
• 3 collections per month – £35
2. Subscription & Payments
• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
• Payments must be made via direct debit or other approved methods.
• Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of the service.
• Prices may be subject to change with prior notice.
3. Collection Schedule
• Collection dates are determined based on your council’s waste collection schedule, as provided by the customer upon sign-up.
• Bins must be placed outside and accessible on the agreed collection day by 7:00 AM.
• If a collection is missed due to customer error (e.g., bin not presented), it will not be rescheduled or refunded.
4. Service Areas
• We currently operate in Glasgow West, Bearsden, Milngavie, and Clydebank.
• Customers outside these areas should contact us before subscribing.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
• Subscriptions can be canceled with at least 7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.
• No refunds are given for mid-month cancellations.
• Optimo Waste Ltd reserves the right to cancel a subscription due to repeated missed payments or non-compliance with service terms.
6. Waste Restrictions
• Only standard household waste and recycling are accepted.
• Hazardous, bulky, or commercial waste is not permitted.
• Overfilled or overweight bins may not be collected.
7. Liability
• Optimo Waste Ltd is not responsible for bins lost, damaged, or stolen after collection.
• We are not liable for any missed collections due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, road closures).
8. Customer Responsibilities
• Ensure bins are accessible and not blocked.
• Inform us of any changes to your collection needs or address.
• Comply with waste disposal regulations.
By subscribing, you agree to these terms and conditions. Optimo Waste Ltd reserves the right to update these terms as needed.
